Maylee Todd is a Canadian multimedia artist, often directing her own music videos which accompany her R&B-infused, electronic music. In 2017, Todd released her last album Acts of Love, and with 17 tracks, there's an abundance of both quality and quantity. She's just signed to Stones Throw and has released a mesmerising new single 'No Other'. A repeating synth melody dances around a tripping drum pattern, creating a hypnotic sea. In the chorus, the bass line brings the funk, the synth becomes fizzy, whilst Maylee's vocals remain cool and collected as she sings 'there's no other kind of love'. -Ellie Rose-Davies
